Tuesday March 14th, 2017- The SwingThought TOUR is proud to announce that Compass Pointe Golf Club will be the host to the first National Series Major of the 2017 season. The 72-hole event will be contested the week of May 3 – May 6, 2017. This will be the first year a SwingThought TOUR event will be held at this venue.

Compass Pointe Golf Club was designed by North Carolina native Rick Robbins and established in June of 2016. The sister course of the popular Magnolia Greens Golf Course, plays at just over 7,200 yards from the back tees featuring wide and fast fairways with undulating Champion Bermuda greens. It also provides unusual elevation changes for coastal areas with having the highest elevation at 75 feet above sea level. Compass Pointe is set to challenge golfers at every level.

All 2017 Majors will have the “4 for 4” benefit – A BONUS $4,000 prize to the winner & a Bradley Putters prize package. This experience package gives the winner of each major a customized handmade Bradley Putter and a PAID trip to Grants Pass, Oregon to oversee and design their custom putter. Each winner will also be able to experience all that Oregon has to offer, such as; Elk hunting, fly fishing, a jet boat trip, and a Boatnik Festival Trip.
