Swing Thought Tour alums Emiliano Grillo, Kevin Na finish 1-2 in season opening PGA Tour event

Emiliano Grillo wins Frys.com Open in playoff with Kevin Na. Swing Thought Tour alums 1 for 1 on the young season

Swing Thought Tour (formerly the NGA Hooters and eGolf Tours) alum Emiliano Grillo defeated fellow alum Kevin Na in a sudden death playoff to win the season opening event, the Frys.com Open, on the 2015-2016 PGA Tour schedule. The participants played the 575 yard par 5 18th hole twice, each making par on their first attempt and Grillo making birdie the second time around to gain the win. Grillo’s best finish on the Swing Thought Tour was a T10 in 2011 at the Auburn Q-School Prep event while Na made his name on the Swing Thought Tour by winning a California Series event. This is Grillo’s rookie season on tour so the win is a great way to start his young career.
