SwingThought TOUR members shine during First Stage of Q-School

As the final putt of the Web.com Q-School’s First Stage dropped, 34 SwingThought TOUR members found themselves advancing to 2nd stage!

“Our tour is designed to develop and advance players. The statistics show that since our tour’s launch in 2015 we are the clear leader in doing just that,” stated Michael Rush, professional golfer, SwingThought TOUR Founder & CEO. “This is not by accident, our players, events, staff, course partners, sponsors, and supporters should take great pride in this fact. On average over 40% of PGA Tour fields and over 60% of Web.com Tour fields are SwingThought TOUR alums. Last year the SwingThought TOUR had 87 (out of 150) current or former players earn status on the Web.com tour, competing against tens of thousands from all across the world, proving that the SwingThought TOUR is the clear pathway for players to develop and advance their careers.

2016 Q School 1st stage highlights:

Anthony Maccaglia2-time winner and current SwingThought TOUR money leader advanced to 2nd stage after his T-18 finish at the Lakelands, Florida site.

Jonathan Hodge, 2-time SwingThought TOUR winner this season and 4th on the money list advanced after finishing T-17 at the Florence, South Carolina site

Christian Brand,  Justin Lower, Joey Garber, and Grant Leaver advanced through to 2nd stage (all 2016 SwingThought TOUR winners)

Blake Sattler, Charlie Martin, Joey Garberand Seth Reeves all earned co-medalist honors at the Callaway Gardens, Georgia site

J.T Griffin won solo medalist honors at the Dothan, Alabama event by firing a 3-round total of 13-under

Bruce Woodall, currently 3rd on the money list and a 3 time SwingThought TOUR State Series winner this season advanced through the Florence, South Carolina Q School site
